Job Description
Principal Data Architects for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Bothell, WA). Create data architecture and design, develop and implement end-to-end data solutions, including software applications for storage, processing, virtualization and visualization in both cloud and on-premises environments. Create technology roadmaps for enterprises and will recommend data pipelines, technology integration patterns. Design conceptual, physical and semantic data models for relevant applications. Ensure data security and adherence to established data policies, Data Quality and Data standards. Perform proof of concept impact analysis on enhancements or changes in requirements and design and implement procedures for executing change requests. Provide guidance and support for the deployment of enterprise data modeling, data stewardship, metadata, and data-quality processes and applications. Develop software applications by employing knowledge full lifecycle of data warehouse design, including installation and configuration of components, Big Data techniques and ETL design. Technical environment: Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Spark, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Event Hubs, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, Kafka, Hadoop, MongoDB, Informatica Power Center, Informatica Developer.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, or related field plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or in Big Data solutions required.
- Required: 2 years with: design, develop and implement data solutions; install and configure Azure/Hadoop components; perform proof of concept impact analysis; design procedures for executed change requests. 1 year with: Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hubs, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, Informatica Power Center, Informatica Developer.
